How to Make a Gangnam Style AI Video
Everything you need for the trio selfie reel: your photo, up to two friends’ photos and a few minutes. Here’s how it works, step by step.

To make a Gangnam Style AI video you need a Google account, one photo of yourself and, if you like, photos of up to two friends. You upload them to the generator, pick 6, 10 or 15 seconds, and get the trio selfie reel back with your faces in it and the Gangnam Style sound in sync. It usually takes about 5 to 6 minutes.
Make a Gangnam Style AI Video From Your Photos in Five Steps
- Sign in with Google. It's the only way to sign in, and you need it to upload photos and make a video.
- Upload your photos. Photo 1 is you, in the middle holding the phone. Photos 2 and 3 are optional: the friend on the right, then the friend on the left (its box opens once photo 2 is in). JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC, up to 10 MB each. On a computer you can also tap "upload from your phone" and scan the QR code to send your own photo straight from your phone.
- Pick a length and tick the box. 6 seconds costs 6 credits, 10 seconds 13 credits and 15 seconds, the full version, 20 credits. Then confirm that the photos are of you or of people who agreed, that everyone is 18 or older, and that no one is a celebrity or public figure.
- Buy credits if you need them. There's no free trial: packs start at $9.90 for 20 credits, a one-time payment, and the credits never expire.
- Make it, then download and post. It usually takes about 5 to 6 minutes. When it's done, watch it, download it (on iPhone the share sheet opens so you can save the video) or share it straight to TikTok. The video stays in your account, so you can leave the page while it renders.
Which Photo Goes Where
- Photo 1, you: the one in the middle who holds the phone, and the first solo turn.
- Photo 2, the friend on the right: the second solo turn.
- Photo 3, the friend on the left: the third solo turn, which only the 15-second version has.
Doing it alone? Upload just your photo and you play all three places, so it's three of you in one selfie. With two photos, you also play the friend on the left. A pet photo works for a part too: your dog or cat dances along as an animal.
Pick Your Length
- 6 seconds (6 credits): the group selfie with all three, then your solo turn at the lens, ending on all three together.
- 10 seconds (13 credits): the group selfie, your solo turn, the friend on the right's turn, then all three together.
- 15 seconds (20 credits): the group selfie and all three solo turns, then everyone back in one selfie at the end.
Every video is a 720p MP4 in 16:9 landscape, like the original reel, with no watermark.
Photo Tips for a Better Likeness
- One person per photo. Group shots make it unclear who should take which place.
- Face the camera. The face and upper body should be visible.
- Good light. Dark or backlit photos give the AI less to work with.
- No sunglasses or heavy filters. Both hide the details that make it look like you.
- Screenshots are fine. Before rendering, each photo is cropped to the person in it, so a phone's status bar or comments are cut away.
Other Ways to Make It
- Film it for real. Grab two friends and one phone, and take turns lip-syncing to the Gangnam Style sound: a group selfie, a solo each, then everyone back in. You need the friends, the place and a few takes.
- An editing-app template. These usually drop your clips or photos into a preset edit; check whether it really puts you into the shots or only adds effects on top of your footage.
- A general AI video model. You'd write the scene yourself, render each shot, join them and add the song. Getting three people, the shot order and the timing right is all on you.
- This generator. Up to three photos in, the remake's shots and the song already lined up, one video out.
Posting It on TikTok
- Your video is 16:9 landscape, the same shape as the original reel.
- It already has the Gangnam Style sound in sync, so you don't need to add audio.
- Use the hashtags the trend runs on: #gangnamstyle #gangnamstyleai #aitrend #psy.
- Say it's AI-generated, and only tag friends who agreed to be in it.
Gangnam Style AI Video FAQ
How long does it take?
Usually about 5 to 6 minutes. That's an estimate, so it can take longer when the video service is busy. You can leave the page; the finished video stays in your account.
Can I make it vertical for TikTok?
No. Every video comes out in 16:9 landscape, the same wide shape as the original reel.
Can I change the order of the turns?
No. The order is set by the reel: you go first, then the friend on the right, then the friend on the left.
Can more than three people be in it?
No. The reel has three places, so you can upload up to 3 photos.
What if the AI refuses one of my photos?
You get your credits back, for example when a photo shows a public figure. Try again with your own photo, or one of a friend who agreed to it.
Is there a free version?
No. There's no free trial; every video uses credits from a paid pack. The smallest, Single, is $9.90 for 20 credits, enough for one full 15-second video.
